An island girl by birth, Pilar’s passion for tropical vegetation with its infinite patterns, textures, and colors is manifested in her Tropical Dream series. Plants, and in particular flowers, evoke a passing moment, a place, or a loved one. She seeks to capture these precious memories of impermanence by translating them into permanent designs of silver and gold.
